The vacation was nice and long and the days alternated between a Disney Theme Park and relaxing by the pool and enjoying the Savanna...and of course frolicking at Disney Springs, what could be better!? Wait, there's more, as Disney Resort hotel Guests, we enjoyed benefits like no other and Pixie-Dusted experiences throughout our stay.
We were able to modify our existing reservation to include a Disney Dining Plan package, creating an inclusive, pre-paid vacation. All I concerned myself with was souvenirs, touring Theme Parks, eating and being a kid again. You too, can also build an inclusive, pre-paid Magic Your Way Vacation Package, which includes your choice of Disney Resort hotel, Theme Park Tickets and the option to add a Disney Dining Plan to your reservation.
I kid you not, your worries and troubles melt away the moment you arrive at Disney's Magical Express Welcome Center at Orlando International Airport - yes, yet another complimentary benefit of staying at select Disney Resort hotels - Disney's Magical Express! Before you leave home, magical Mickey mail brings forth those luggage tags and Transportation Voucher and voila! Once you arrive at Orlando International Airport, you can by-pass Baggage Claim and head straight to Disney's Magical Express Welcome Center and once checked in at the Welcome Kiosk, you're on your way to The Most Magical Place on Earth.
The theming at over 25 Disney Resort hotels is over-the-top and each Resort hotel can easily be a vacation destination on its own - truly! We enjoyed authentic African theming at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village and over at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Jambo House nearby. The authentic African art - one of the largest displays out of Africa is proudly displayed here, boasting a massive Igbo Ijele mask standing 16 feet tall. This mask is danced by a single man and is also the only such mask out of Nigeria. These are the details that go above and beyond, all thanks to the creativity of Disney Imagineers. Not to mention all the Resort hotel specific activities, such as the tours and sitting around the fire pits next to the savanna...it is an experience like no other.
