Walt Disney World's newest attraction at Magic Kingdom theme park, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, in New Fantasyland is sure to be a hit with guests. Disney Imagineers must have also considered their Autistic guests in designing every aspect of this attraction.
While I will not have the opportunity until late October to personally experience this with my son, I was very excited to see a video of the interactive queue for this attraction. Everything about the queue is sensory driven and will definitely captivate many Autistic guests. The queue encompasses many sensory aspects and presents them in a fashion that fosters learning in a hands on and fun manner. The best way, in my opinion to learn.
I will also use this video to acclimate my son to what he can expect while learning to wait for longer periods in the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train queue.
Thank you Disney Imagineers....no stone is ever left unturned and your attention to details is to be commended!
Have a look at the video released by the Disney Parks Blog and enjoy!

It is gonna be a great ride Jackie, that's for sure :-) It is nice to see them considering all guest when designing things like the queues. Leave it to Disney!
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking the time to read the post and I appreciate your feedback. It's comforting to many parents of Autistic children to be able to experience such a queue that will assist them with their child.
